Programming Key fob

Hi guys,

Ive found quite a few posts with regards to what you can have programed with your fob, but does anyone have a specific list for the Z4?

I've done some google trawling and found this for the 7 series http://www.e38.org/B090398_Att2_CKMSet.PDF but does anyone have a PDF for the Z4?

PS im taking mine to http://www.bmwburton.co.uk this Friday for a brake fluid change and might ask them to do my keys aswell (just keen to know what i want before i get there)

trouble is it depends to some extent on what options you have in your car...

cj has previously posted his list which seemed quite comprehensive.

Then you get to what the dealers will program and what the indy's can do separately to that...

Ranski - call Sytner in Sutton and gthey will print you a full list out based on the chassis number. I'm sure however it will be virtually identical to mine as posted.

If they won't do it on the phone go in ask ask Maureen in parts. She's a hero and nobody argues with her. Only been there 31 years iirc....

I just coded my 03 Z4 to flash on locking and unlocking, its a relatively minor things but i am now chuffed to bits. I just spent the last 10 minutes locking and unlocking my car to see it flash, how sad is that? I couldnt see any option to make it chirp or open the roof, i guess that must be autologic that allows you to set that.

Oh please don't get it to 'bleep' or 'chirp' on opening. That is the most annoying and pointless thing ever done with car alarms - so 80's aftermarket :thumbsdown:

I have lock chirps... It is a little 80's but has a REALLY useful feature... Mine only chirps if ALL hatches are closed, including the boot. The indicators flash if just the doors are closed.

Really useful as i frequently used to put pressure on the boot release when in my pocket by accident and driving around with an open boot... Not anymore!!

Ill try to dig out my master list of everything you can change, theres about 5x more (nearly all useless mind!) than on that dealer list.
