programmable options

Stratts seems to have found a few interesting options there.
If anyone in the SW want's SSS stuff done I can do that or coding with a little research. Did someone mention curry, there's a winner!

I'd love that as well ... :wub:
other changes on my wishlist would be:
- clown nose tilts whenever the car is locked (mine has no alarm)
- doors locking when reaching 2mph
Have no clue how to that myself, is this feasible by a noob with only getting an Android app and appropriate cable..?

It is an option on my LCM ( can't remember the specific wording) but there are plenty of options that appear that don't change anything on their own. So, the option to have the Amber sidelights is in NCS Expert, but it's not clear if it is actually possible to code it.

It's not something I want on my car, so I haven't tried it, but if anyone wants to be a guinea pig, I'll be happy to try it.

I'm a sucker for a gadget. I've got the gaptech, doors already auto lock, lights already flash with locking, car already remembers heater settings etc...not sure what else there could be?

Maybe you could program me in an ejecto seats cuz
 
I'm having some issues with my intravee interfering with my headlights... Again. So I'm looking to try and get the options I use coded into the car so I can switch them off... Main one is indicator one-touch blink. Is the blink restricted to 3 when you use NCS ? I like the four I have set now, just that bit longer to change lanes. But as think as this means the intravee talking to the LCM it's causing some issues :(

I am taking on a new customer in Brentwood soon, so might tap you up sometime Stratts :thumbsup:

Thanks for the software. The cable cane today and I've managed to set the alarm so it sounds when i lock add unlock the car. Turn signals 3 flash for lane change didn't work. Locking doors when you drive off hasn't worked either. Putting roof up using key is now enabled and somehow i managed to get my airbag light on but it has cleared now and more annoying the driver window will go down one touch but now won't come up one touch. Grrrrrr

No problem.

The Lock when driving has to be set on three options (Speed, on/off, key). Two of these are in the main coding section, but not sure if you noticed, but at the bottom of the file there is a codeable key section where you also have to assign auto lock to each of the remote keys. If you just enabled it as a general option is it activated but will not work until you assign it to the key(s).

Did you use the ncs dummy program?

BTW - One touch indicators only works on facelift cars
 
There was loads of code in there ask in German. Lol. I was impressed i managed to do what i did. Ive just figured out ncs dummy i think which i assume is a translator. :)

I was going to use sssprogman if it works to have a look at key programming.

I'll also have a look at the file again as i have only set it in one place.

NCS dummy is a godsend. If you load the FSW_PSW.trc file into it, it will translate all of the options into English but equally importantly gives you a graphical tickbox to change the option rather than you typing in aktiv or nicht_aktiv all the time. Just make sure you know which number module you have (e.g. GM5.C05) as it doesn't like mismatches.

It will then create the .man file you need to load back into the module to recode it.

As always, just make sure you keep a copy of the original module readout somewhere safe, just in case you need to revert back to it.
 
this looks like something i defo want to look into, i don't like the fact my car doesn't flash when unlocked as im walking up to it (previous car did.... so kind of used to it) and wouldnt mind the beep aswell. plus a few other gimmicky options im sure lol.

what is needed to do this... just a cable off ebay and then plug it into your laptop with a certain program or...???

Exactly that. Allowed me to put the roof up with key too. It was already programmed to allow me to lower roof with key.
