programmable options

I want to programme the lights to stay on after car is locked (to see me to the door you see), triple blink indicators and a few other tasty tweeks - anyone got software on a laptop that can allow me to do this and wants to facilitate in London area in exchange for half hour of my wit, charm and charisma and a crate of beers ? Or is it a stealer job ?

I can code your car if you can venture out to Upminster, but the codeable options depend on what year your car is.

Pre-facelift cars can't be coded for triple blink. Can be coded on facelift models.
Your car should have home lights as standard (operated by the stalk). You can code the time they stay on and which lights are used, but not much else. It can't be programmed to coincide with locking for example.

Ive coded my 04 car with bleep locking, remote roof open/close, auto locking and a few others.

How much to code a few things on my 2003 zed for mate? Mainly auto locking whilst driving away and chirp on locking the car

Ta v much Stratts: i'll drop you a PM in next couple of weeks as i'll be going thro that way to see 'er in draws and would be great to have!

Ohhh this sounds rather tempting, can you program //Ms too? Mine doesn't lock when i drive off which is really annoying as i had that in my old 3.0. A couple of pints and a curry for your time :D

I coded my car too, indicator flash when lock / de-lock. Another thing which is cool is roof comfort open / close from key fob.

Actually I did code my '03 for triple blink.
I also coded remote roof open/close, but it is not very reliable, atleast not in garage.

Here's options which can be coded, all of them don't work

There are other modules too, not shown on this list. You can also code the instrument cluster (more accurate speedo, fuel and temp gauge settings, seatbelt chimes, etc.) or climate control (turn off auto A/C when the Auto button is pressed, remember last setting, etc.) for example.

Anyway, I am happy to do some coding for people provided I don't get inundated. I am abroad for one or two weeks a month so I am not always available, drop me a PM if you want some help and we can make arrangements. I can also provide the software for anyone that wants it, all you would need is to buy the cable.

Hi. I'm interested in this. Is the software for a pc or a phone. Are the changes made perminent or is something kept plugged in all the time.
I have a 3.0 55reg, is it compatible?

Thanks

Very kind offer stratts, if im ever up your way I will send you a pm or likewise if you're down my way and fancy a beer reimbursement...

Personally I regret the lock on drive away. I tend to find passengers and even I forget that it's locked and thus yank hard at the handle, which is pretty flimsy.

What setting sorted out the speedo?

There are four options you need to change, all of themto do with the wheel speed sensors and changing the "pulses per km". In other words you tell the car how many times the wheel rotates for each km. The four settings are split between two for the speedo and two for the odometer.

I can't remember all of the options available (and you can program in your own one) but mine is set to 4,916 and I think there are options to increase and lower this as you see fit. It hurts my head to work out what his means, but I think if you went lower you would make the speedo read higher (??)

These options are all inside the Kombi (KMB) module.

You can also change the settings for the accuracy of the fuel and temp gauges but these are a bit more complicated

i would like the remote roof and beep when you lock the car. i got the indicators to flash when you lock the car but nothing happens when you unlock the car. i'm in rainham so only five minutes down the road. if you can still do this Statts please let me know i would be very interested :)
