I know there are several features that are key-fob specific and programmable. i.e.. 3 flash turn signal. I just bought my Z4M and an owner's manual didn't come with it. Can anyone give me a list of all these features and what the options are? My local BMW dealer, unfortunately, is far from being a reliable source of any information whatsoever. Thanks in advance!

If you do a quick search on the forum for "18333" (topic number) you will come across a previous topic where someone has scanned the dealer document in showing what functions are available. Not sure how specific it is to your model, but it will give you a good idea.
I recently bought a 2003 Roadster and although I have read in the manual what programmable key features are available, I'd like to know how one goes about getting these programmed? Is it only through the dealer?

If you are near the Grovesner Motor Co near Reading, the guys there use bespoke computers to reprogram the keys - my roof now opens & closes on the key fob.
Apparently, it's not the key that remembers what's programmed, it's the car that recognises which key is being used & what it's set to do. At a recent open day, I had both my keys set to work the same with a few other functions... well worth doing and they guys will also go through all the fault codes on yr car & reset them if just warnings (normally bulb failure warning &, flat tyre indicators etc...)
Be warned, will cost u money...

My Z4M is going into BMW tomorrow to have these features activated:
• 3 click indication
• Central locking lights ON - open and closing
• Auto locking of vehicle when driving away
• Window opening feature
• Delayed dipped headlights after locking vehicle
• When locked switch on interior light with lock button
Having mine done at Lloyd BMW Carlisle, they are charging me £45.
