Professionally Smoked Tail-lights, Roundels and 3rd Brake

Selling on behalf of a friend (who doesn't even own a Z4!!! :roll: :? ).

Set of pre-facelift taillights, roundels and 3rd brake light all professionally smoke tinted by a German company. They were bought to be fitted to something else (crazy Max Power type project :lol: ) but he never got around to it after spending a fortune on buying the lights/getting them tinted.

Flawless job, very dark looking but still nicely translucent. These would look incredible on a black Z!! 8)

Come with all bulb fittings etc and ready to plug in as far as I know.

I once tinted a set of rear lights myself.. which looked good when the lights were off, but when on they showed the patches where the tint was over/under applied.
 
no doubting the quality, i can only imagine they would look a bit naff. you can still see the amber behind the indicator light. each to their own i suppose.
 
Dan, tinted lamps and indicators turned up today. Excellent finish on them. Not as dark as I expected (thought they mayve been like those rochey has above) but should look cool on my black zed. Cheers!
 
Out of interest what did these sell for ?

May add them to my ever increasing list of mods.

Pics of them on the black Zed would be great too :thumbsup:
 
Chester, I think its dan evs prerogative to disclose the price received, but it was a good deal in my opinion. Am looking to swap to dark lights this weekend (when I'm home in the daylight) will put up pics by Sunday eve. I think they ll look cool :)

I purchaced those tints few days ago, and received them yesterday.

@ ebay link they seem too dark, @ hand they seem fine, not too much dark, not too much "transparent".
Tints were piece of...you know. Threw them at garbage bin after 1hour trying.

Which, i think, are the same ones as you bought. You said "not as dark as i expected". May i ask a favor, to shoot as many pics you can, from different angles, day/night etc to see how dark they are. I hope its like the silly tints i bought, too dark at pics, not too dark in close personal view.
