It was highlighted after my MOT that my rear brakes were about 95% worn (both pads and discs) so me being the defiant engineering type shouted NO THOU SHALL NOT CHARGE ME A RIDICULOUS SUM OF MONEY, I'LL DO IT MYSELF  . (Actually it was more of a "will it pass the MOT?" "Yes Sir" "OK, I shall do it myself later, but thank you for letting me know" :| )
With that in mind I purchased the parts from eurocarparts to which they arrived and I changed them this weekend. Wasn't a fan of finding the handbrake shoes being an absolute git to get loose though! Took me ages until I realised I'd got a small wide flat head screw driver in my tool box which worked a treat!
Now the more unique part of this weekend was today.... I purchased a set of silver MFSW switches from ebay this week as, with a lot of other people, the rubberdised paint had started to look work and tatty and managed to pip someone to the post from this very forum  . Very happy with the outcome (photo doesn't do it justice, although it looks good to me) of the left and right...Just need to get the bottom spoke done now, which can happen next weekend.

Anyone else done anything like that? I've not seen it, but always thought it would look good.
