Production Numbers for M Coupe by Model Year?

Does anyone know if this information is available?

My local jurisdiction allows special license rates for cars made in less than 1500 cars per model year but I can't find that data - just the total number of coupes made for North America and for the world, but no breakdowns by year.

I have searched on line, but nothing so far. Guess I could ask BMW but I'm not sure where to direct the query.
