Definitely doing my head in!! Just looked awful and I still don't understand why the badge was that bad lol. But it just makes it look so much better and how she should look!

Also did the rear badge as we'll but that was just me being picky as the original one the BMW was discoloured slightly so I changed that too!

Next thing to do is the front bumper/bonnet badge but I need to find a replacement first?...

:D

That is a huge improvement Emj so much better I have no idea how they got into that state!!!

Happy to help out  as for the bumper one pop one or both the grills out and there are 2 nuts underneath.

I managed to do exactly this type of damage to the badges on my old Fez ST. The culprit was a strong TFR (traffic film remover) type product I used to use when cleaning a particularly dirty car. Very caustic stuff and evidently not good for delicate trim...

Good grief that before shot looks awful

Much better now, although ginger indicators still look rather ugly! Clears/tinted all the way.

Nicely done.

I've just fitted my carbon badges. I've got a bonnet/grill badge therefore that you can have? It's not perfect on the back(not sure what happened! Lol), but the face looks pretty good?

It's yours for a fiver delivered??

I'm off to the States on Tuesday (weather permitting!), but can post when I get back??

Let me know.

Cheers.

Pete :)

Pete - where did you get your carbon badges from? My front one is peeling so needs replacing but I fancy changing to carbon.

No worries.

I'll email you a picture or two to make sure you're happy with it. :)

If you can email me your address details, will post it out when I get back from the States.

My email is: [email protected]

As for where I got my carbon badges, email Ian Clifton. He's well known on here (been doing these for Z4 owners for years). Really pleased with the OEM quality, but they are pricer than some of the eBay specials(worth the extra in my opinion).

His email address is: [email protected]

By all means mention me in your email.

Cheers.

Pete :)
