Hi folks, I thought that some of you may be interested to see some pics of our visit to the Prodrive factory in Banbury last Saturday. This was organised by Simon Alcorn of the BMW car club.
Myself and billabongmac spent a very interesting and informative 3 hours there, I would highly recomend going if you get the chance.
Hope you like these.

Was lucky to do some NDT work on both the Scooby and Mondeo pictured at the time when the late Colin McRae was main man in WRC and Alain Menu was main man in BTCC.

Nice pictures

Lost count of the number of times I've driven up the M40 close by Prodrive and thought how good it would be to have a look inside.
It's less than 20 miles from us so maybe worth enquiring about a visit.
Some great looking motors there, you're very priveleged. Good post.

I am just down the road. If you can arrange something put me front and centre on the list.

Ok I shall make enquiries with Prodrive and then put the info into the meets & events section. Thanks.

Nice pics of some great cars! The prodrive handling course is pretty exciting as well-I went there in my Mazda rx8 :driving:

Was that at Banbury or Fen End? Had a great day there, some years ago, in my little old Fiat Coupe and a friends 470 bhp S4 B5 :driving:

Every car there looks fantastic.Lottery win needed to buy some of those.
I just need to touch that Aston Vulcan to be happy for life. What a stunning looking thing.

We went past Prodrive on the M40 and noticed a Z4 in the carpark ??
I would be up for a visit too.
Another place to visit, if it could be arranged, is the Williams F1 complex at Grove, near Wantage. Went in there years ago and had a look around Franks collection of old F1 and rally cars.

Hi Buzy, I'm pretty sure it was at Banbury-skid pan & a small handling circuit (the rx8 got up to 110mph round there from memory)
