Problem with the soft top...

I have some problems with my soft top...
first of all is closing very hard... im afraid that will broke something when the soft top meets the car...
aslo when it is closed i'm hearing rattles...
any ideas???
or i have to go to the dealer!!!

Sorry - I can't offer much here. I've only ever heard of them sticking or closing slowly, not closing 'very hard'. Sounds like something is not switching off soon enough so I'd be looking for a switch or sensor.

Mine's in the shop for a replacement motor,pump and roof at the moment. The courtesy Z4 I've been given is just a few months old and the hood really does slam down onto the windscreen surround, unlike my car. I think it's just efficient??
...Should I say 'did' slam down, as I was involved in a road traffic accident at the weekend and that car is no longer with us... very scary
