Sorry for my english i'm a French guy ... :roll:
I Bought one year ago , a 2003' Z4 3,0 231hp RHD well equiped , She's got Heated seats , GPS , Xenon lights , HI-FI Professional with DSP ( That's the problem )
When I bought it, She's got an aftermarket radio with only 2 speakers who works on the back of the seats .
The previous owner connect them directly to the Radio & it makes a really nasty sound because of the speakers was not the good model for the car .
With this radio , every time i put it ON , the GPS was closing immediatly , The sound of the the indicators disapear but the light still working
the luminosity of the dashboard goes down ... Auto-lights lights up on sunny weather ... and everthing return good when I put the radio OFF
So i decided to buy an OEM Radio The "BMW Business Navigation", I thougt that it will resolve the problem , And because of The 10 Speakers and the DSP the sound should be good :roll:
But when i've been able to connect the OEM Radio , Nothing happened ... The Radio was connected because the radio lights up in Red but the same things happened like with the aftermarket radio , GPS is closing ETC... I can't even press a button , nothing happened...
Only one time it works and i can navigate into the menus , the GPS was working , But no DSP on the screen , and I can't put the Radio or even a CD when I press these button Nothing happened
That was the first and the last time that I can do something with this radio ... Today i'm like at the beginning nothing works...
I think the first problem is on the DSP because is not on the screen , and I don't know how to test it !

I've already post on the French Forum of Z4 but no one was able to explain this problem... The community of the UK Z4 is bigger, I hope that that I will find an answer !
