Problem selecting 1st

A few times I've had a problem selecting first gear. Clutch has been fully pressed and it will not go in to first. It feels like the gear stick is pressing against something . Normally when I re clutch it it is ok.

Any ideas?

It is normal mine does the same think sometimes. When this happens depress and press the clutch and the gear should engage. My mechanic said that it is normal as well. Might be good to change the gearbox oil though.
