Problem - Car Sticking When Pulling Away

I'm having a strange problem with my Z4M. Whenever the car has been sitting for a day or two, the axle / wheels seem to be sticking when I drive the car again for the first time. I have recently returned from a 2 week holiday and the problem was really bad - I had to rev the car hard to get it to 'unstick' and pull away. Once the car has moved it performs as normal. Any ideas? The car has just been through its inspection 1 service and nothing unusual was picked up from that.

Brakes seized on, especially when left wet.

I never leave the hand brake on either when parking long term - just leave it in gear.

Thanks for the prompt responses. Is this a common problem and is it something that I need to have fixed? Will it be expensive? I've just paid for the inspection 1 and could do without another large car bill! Cheers. GTR

Used to happen quite a lot on my Z4MC, but now I just leave it parked in gear with the handbrake off.

If you don't pull the handbrake enough then the car may move, if you pull it enough to stop it moving then you'll get it stuck the following morning/week/month when you come to use it.

There's nothing to get fixed as such as it's just one of those things - same as the surface corrosion you see on brake discs 5 minutes after washing the car!

i get this on my m coupe, if i put it away after a wash, can be well and truly stuck too, now i dry the brakes first and park it in neutral and out of gear then for the first couple of days grab a wheel spoke and move the car a few inches twice a day then its fine, needs a strip and clean i suspect.
