Problem :-( any help!

Ok so had my parrot kit fitted on Tuesday and yesterday I set of for a 170 mile trip to find that my sat nav battery died due to the cig lighter not working! could the parrot fitting be linked to this?? Also I'm told it's fuse number 5 for the cig lighter is this correct?

I fitted a parrot kit and it had no effect on the power outlet. Might be worth removing your ashtray and checking everything is plugged in correctly

Or they shorted something during the fitting.

Yeah I've checked the ash tray and it seems fine! Also found fuse 5 in the fuse box but I've been unable to pull it out and check as I have no pliers!

If you have the original fuse pack there is a tool in there to remove fuses.

I could see a little diagram but no idea what the fuse pack is or where it's located?

Ok so I've had fuse 5 out and checked it! It's perfect! Also checked the 2 little wires in the ash tray and they are fine as well?? Argh!!!
