I've been looking for a Z4 3.0 2003/2005 for a while now, holding out for my perfect car..... I'm looking to spend upto 13k for a 3.0SE, preferably fully loaded and either Black or Grey, with M sport seats. I haven't found my dream car yet but....

.....while looking I've also quite fancied a Nissan 350z. My local Nissan garage has just had a really good example come in stock and I'm thinking of going to see it.

Has anyone owned both the Z4 3.0 and 350z..??

How do they compare performance/comfort wise...etc?

drive one, there have been comparisons on here in the past but i tihnk most swung the way of the zed, but then you'd expect them to. The interior put me off, but then it wasn't quick enough either.

350z is just too big, IMO. Sounds nice, though. Also in terms of petrol (thirsty V6) and road tax (double the 3.0) it's a bit more expensive to run than a Z4.

Plus it's a Nissan, and the Z4 is a BMW. No decision to make, in my opinion.

The 370z is a different matter, though... :driving:
 
When I was looking to buy a 2 seater sports car, I narrowed my choice of cars down to the Z4 or the 350Z.

350Z was a great car, but the tie bar in the boot was too intrusive to space and the interior was a bit cheap compared to the Z4, so it was the Z4.

Actually it was a similar thing now I am looking at changing my Z4. It was between the new Z4 or the 370Z. Again the Z4 won for very similar reasons!! :driving:

Me too, I even rang up about two 350s while waiting for the seller to ring me back on the Z4 I bought.

I'm very happy with the choice I made :)
 
Thanks folks,

I'm going to test drive the 350 tomorrow, hopefully just to eliminate it from the equation and I can get back into my Z4 searching full time again......I'm sure I'll find 'the one' soon enough!!
