Pro Nav system.......MP3?

Hi,

My car has a Pro Nav system fitted, With an iPod interface, which I'm thinking of ditching. Question is does the multi changer play MP3's, the head unit does?.

I've not tried, but I believe that if you have a head unit that plays MP3s, the changer also does.

I thought the BMW iPod interface replaced the changer? BMW's own interface is widely regarded as rubbish, better to replace it with either an Intravee/Alpine setup or a Dice unit?

The changer will play mp3's but the changers can be unreliable as they get older.

Stick with the mp3
