Evening All,

Had my Zed for a month or so now and I'm putting together plans for things I'm going to do over the winter!

Apart from wheels and tyres (Anybody looking for a set of MV2's in a month or so, you know where to come  ) - What I really want to sort out is the Nav/Stereo (Non DSP, changer in the rear centre consol), I'm looking to integrate music from either a USB stick or any other mass storage device with text on the nav screen.
I've searched the forum but most people seem to be using I pods/Phones and opinion seems divided between Intravee and Denison, but not many threads regarding USB.......

Any advice or experiences appreciated.

I looked into this a while back and came to the conclusion that the Intravee was the easiest way - I'm not an Apple fanboi and didn't own an iPod or iPhone so picked up a second-hand iPod on eBay which has been dedicated to in-car use

The Intravee will interface to a large number of Alpine devices, most of us use the KCA-420i iPod adapter, but they do also do a USB interface.

The Dice solution can do both iPod and USB, as can some Dension devices but I've not tried either of these in a zed.

A frequent gotcha with devices handling USB is how many objects, folders etc they can manage and the maximum capacity and formats they support.

Thanks Fella's

Also been looking at Grom, some really good reviews but no mention of it on the forum!. I was also thinking of picking up a used I pod just for the car (It had a unbranded IPod interface in it when I bought it) - but I cant stand I Tunes, after removing it from my laptop because it insisted on being my default player no matter what, it took 14Hrs to defrag the hard drive :x !.
