Private plate for M roadster

I have never understood the values on plates over there.

In Canada we can get personalized plates - cost is $100 plus $40 per year thereafter. I've never bothered because it doesn't turn my crank to have one, but at least if it did, we pay a more reasonable price.

Got my Plate nearly 25 years ago, so your $100 + $40 a year = $ 1100.--

Mine cost £ 250.-- for N4LLY

Best regards

Mr. Nally :)

Sounds expensive for a reg that says MROSSTR when others with the same pre & suffix are only £388+vat - maybe better for someone called M Rossiter

If only Leonard was still alive . It is expensive and especially when compared with the others which I hadn`t seen . I`m not looking for this personally as I dont have an M or a roadster and the others you found didn`t come up when I was playing about . It was just that I saw it and thought someone might be interested . I shall climb back in my coupe shell and think twice in the future .
Don't fret, we're all having a laugh :P

Coupe pates are even harder to find, I ended up with my initials TC as prefix and ZMC as suffix - so TC56 ZMC - but it was only £250.

Agreed. I don't really get the whole 'Vanity Plate' thing. Tere are certain times when having a bog standard non-memoralbe plate is a distinct advantage.

As for spending ££££ on one that vaguely resembles your surname, you can change your name to match the plate exactly for under £100.

I'm not sure I want to change my name to XBG, I think it might confuse people :?

I missed out on P911BEN at auction not long ago, in anticipation of one day owning a porker. Good job, as I got a Z4C instead, with a Zeddy plate for free.

If you changed your name to Robin or Maurice Gibb the plate XBG would be very appropriate :P

I got M44 CPE for £250. I wonder if I could sell it to someone with a beaver-toothed 4x4 M4 coupe?

I got mine for £250.00 M28 HOC, wife kindly bought it for, M for Mike and the first 3 letters of my name. And my age (I wish).
