I heard that some years back a well known UK hooker bought this one:
PEN 1 S

Nope; most 'dubious' plates like that are not released. Look up PEN1S and you get:

"The registration PEN 1S was not issued on the basis that it is considered offensive or undiplomatic by the British Government."

However...they don't seem to spot them all! I have definitely seen PEN15 on a Smart Car at the motorway services once.... and it's for sale - £100k.

I'm sure Steve Parish had a plate that read that on his car at some point.

Wow! And I thought our state governments ripped us of! $43.00 for three years doesn't seem so bad now. I New York you just go to a wet-site where you can punch in various combinations and it will tell you if available if it is order on line and you will have it in 3 weeks. LUVMYZ4 kind of corny, but I like it, my wife came up with it.

I'm pretty sure Steve Parish had this plate too. He bought it in the 80's i think, along with the plate '60 CK' (COCK).
I saw one in Wilmslow a few weeks ago that made me laugh. A brilliant plate which simply read 'W1LLY'. There was a very attractive lady driving the car as well!

I got one for my 21st b'day and have assigned it to my last 3 cars. I prefer that to make/model related plates since I dont want to have to keep changing plates everytime i change my car. A plate should be personal (hence personalised plate) If you aim to keep the car for a considerable time then I suppose it would be worth it. I've seen D14BLO on a purple lambo around East Sussex. A friend of mine used to own a successful company called Sight & Sound and he treated his Ferrari 355 to the tag 50UND which cost a staggering £55,000!!! I'd have bought another 355 to be honest. lol
I'm happy with my N66 6REG which was a snip at £250 (ok so i've moved the 6 to read GREG, but I draw the line there and touch wood have never been pulled over... I presume since I'm using standard size and font and not boy 'chav' racer italics!)

I have one on my car with my initials on it, have just got one for the girlfriend too. The only problem is that her plate ends in a T which is my name not hers.........

I've had a plate for 10 years, but until recently have only had company cars and bikes so it's always been on my wife's cars. When I bought my Z I didn't have the heart to snatch it back off her , so S11URV stays on her MX5 . I've got a dateless 3 letter, 3 number jobbie for the Z.I think they're a lot of fun.
