prices of a used z4m

It gets driven quite hard here and there, but then it's serviced twice as often as the recommended schedule (approx every 6k miles instead of every 12k), and babied (3000rpm max) until it's up to temperature. I'd almost rather own a car that's had the odd bit of trackday abuse, but been cared for properly, than perhaps one owned by a sales rep, that has racked up lots short journeys, gets thrashed from cold, etc etc.

It's all pie in the sky talk anyway as I have no plans to sell mine for some time yet, and by the time it does it'll probably have a billion miles on it and won't be worth selling to anyone! :P

I'm surprised anyone would NOT buy a car that had been tracked. In most cases (with cars worth this amount), the car has been looked after even better than someone who just potters around in the car posing.

Ah, I just read what Andy has said, and he's said the same. But it's true - buy a car on condition, not the fact it's had a few trackdays. My MX5 had seen a few trackdays, but was in perfect condition and very well looked after.

Andy, I seriously hope I feel the same about my car in a year or so, since my history has been a bit like yours, changing quite often. (Well, you had the Tiv on CSOC, then saw you went onto the Rex and the '220).

Slightly OT but sixspeed I think you were at the 'Ring when we were there back end of May last year? Just booked for the same weeeknd this year too :)

iv'e been speaking to somone at dick lovetts in bristol about an 06/56 in red there.i have no p/x the car would be paid for without finance and the best he could do so he says is put 6 months tax on it.the guy also says the car could be delivered to me with out cost but i think he is missing the point, when you buy a car like these you look forward to collecting the car and driving it home!!!the car is £24000.i'll leave him to stew and see if he gets back to me.
ps,the car is very nice tho :D

I know I have posted this before but.

I paid £17,800 for mine in March 09.

Roadster
Interlagos Blue
06
19k miles
Sat Nav
Park Sensors
Genuine CSL's
Strut Brace
Full BMWSH (1200 mile run in done at 1204 ;))

I think I got a bit of a bargain, I would like to say that I could sell it for more today if I wished. However I have no intentions of doing anything with it other than loving and cherishing it.

ETA: it is mint (as anyone on the Hampshire meet on Sunday will testify) and its currently in with BMW for some "warranty work" and they have found it to be in very good condition.
