Price of facelift xenons 2nd hand

cj10jeeper or ranski are the guys to ask. Both know lots more than me.

I really want to de-amber my car, but the Xenons are a real issue. Cost from dealer is c.£1400 a pair for pre facelift clear indicator units.

ranski has done the cut and shut method, if you do a quick forum search for angel eyes or clear indicators you'll find the thread...

Does your car have silver or black headlight inners? That's another thing to think about. If you have a 3.0 they should be silver inners. I would keep 'em silver if poss if you've got a 3.0 (only an opinion of course)...
 
Yeah silver inners on my 3.0
The rush is I have to pay for one tomorrow and found the other on eBay.
I already have factory xenon and thought it would be a straight swap for facelift clears but if it can't be done I will have to leave them and explain to the seller :(
 
Try a PM to cj10jeeper - he knows his stuff.

I'm 99.999% sure they won't swap. Something to do with wiring loom differences and different currents I think

No they won't fit your right il just have to tell the guy I can't go ahead with the sale.

There must be a solution, there's talk of someone making a small batch of clear indicators privately for forum members. If it goes ahead its just a case of cutting open the headlight unit and swapping the amber for clears.

So far no one sells the clear part separate :headbang:
 
the facelift headlights have the low and highbeams powered by the xenon - prefacelifts have a halogen high beam.

Your best (cheapest option) is to find some facelift headlights (halogen or xenon) whatever and cut off the lens of both headlights, then swap the indicators over so you have the clear ones in your pre facelift headlights and glue em back up - oh and add angel eyes while your in their.

this is the only known method of adding angel eyes...

facelift as in ,double lenses??

or with oem angeleyes?

last wont fit directlye an dneed different pin out of the connectors,other should fit

because bixenon is intended as one xenon lamp but lifts beam when needed,the innerlamp is fitted with h7 in both cases
