Just got sytner Nottingham to price match oil service on my z4 alpina .They wanted £220 parkside at worksop wanted £159. on sytners web site they will match any independent BMW specialists but not on z4m

Did you have to prove the lower price from independent specialists, and how?

I phoned sytner Nottingham they just ask for the name and address of specialist .I got three quotes and parkside was the cheapest if you google(price match at sytner)you can get the offer up

£159 to change the oil Presume the disparity is the cost of the stamp!

I'm not convinced getting the YTS muppet from the main dealer to service your car over a indepandant speciailist is worth the stamp come resale... the grief i've had from main dealers doing work wrong far outweighs it in my experience. The local indy in comparision has yet to cause bother!
