What is a fair price for one of these? Perfect leather seats, imperfect wheels :D a few stone chips, good glass, 120k well serviced and running beautifully with a grand just spent, new tyres, no damage, just polished in stunning ruby black.
Someone wants to buy it from me but I don’t know what to ask for it? Not an M but the 3 litre manual. Is that enough info for a guess price? I don’t really want to sell at all but I think maybe I should....

Pending pics - spec - Se or Sport - wheel style - tyres etc id say a 10% swing either side of £8k will be the zone you need to be in .

Where’s my reply? I wrote three paragraphs on this and referred to 3 adverts non Autotrader. :headbang:
Still, i was thinking what Andy said...so not all lost. :D

I will try and add photos, but its been professionally polished since these so its much prettier.
Sale mot really for sale bg1? Oh, I don’t know I am just miserable at selling it! But, yes, all offers considered, I am in Devon.
Sorry we lost your considered reply Whylie85.
Yep mr wilks, I thought maybe about 8k. Great to hear I am not miles out!

I think the front bumper and bonnet have loads of little stone chips but it’s nearly fifteen years old so I guess they all have?
Oh, I am the second owner. The first guy didn’t keep any history but I have it engine flushed, filters etc on regular basis, and only the best oil and high octane fuel... :)

No service history for the last 120k miles is going to put a dent in your asking price i suspect.

Yes, I am sure you are right Rob. But I think I have done thirty odd and kept receipts, but no, no service for first ninety thou. Thats why I have had so much done, just in case. Its like the owners though, so few puts it up, mixed service history puts it down...

From your photos it looks like your car has the Style 200 17" wheels that were standard on the SE model, so it's probably an SE!

Sport models came with 18" wheels, but more importantly had the highly-desirable M-Sport seats that were only an option on the SE cars which tend to limit value. Then again other options like Bi-Xenon headlights, heated seats, etc. can enhance value.

Without full details it's hard to be specific, but GLWTS.

If the first owner had it for 90k miles, it’s more than likely to have at least some BMW service history. Worth contacting the dealer closest to the previous owner, they may be able to help you out. It will make a big difference to saleability.

£8k for a 120k SE with FSH is probably about right, without FSH it’s a bit rich.
