prewired for electric seats?

hi all, i have a 55 plate roadster, built oct 2005, does anyone know if my build period had the full wiring harness to simply plug and play leccy seats. id be looking to swap out my heated manual for heated electric.

research on here has resulted in mixed info. as far as i can tell, early pre-facelift had full harnesses, post facelift did not. with my car being almost a facelift build but not quite - it came with amber headlights - im not sure which camp im in.

Hi, I remeber fitting some in my early Z3, and the plus where there, heating too. That was lush after fitting the M Sport seats!

It really is pot-luck. I would give BMW parts a visit, at you local dealers. They can check their system using your chasis number. Good luck!
 
Just raise the seat to its full height and take a look underneath. Find the big composite plug and see if you have spare cables in there which would be for electric operation (given you already have heaters)

Don't disconnect the yellow airbag circuit and turn the ignition on....
