or both?

whats the difference between a pre wash like VP citrus and a snow foam like VP phn neutral.

how do you apply the pre wash, diluted? just using a squirty bottle?

I often use both depending on how dirty the car is on the lower body panels.

Both are pre washes that help loosen stubborn dirt/film and grime allowing for a safer wash. Snow foams are a more economic method for greater coverage.

You can use something like VP citrus through a foam lance or through a spray bottle or pump action bottle (diluted to the correct specification).

Auto Finesse Avalanche appears to be a cross between the two products.

Cheers. I've got both citrus and the ph from valet pro.

I read that the citrus is a bit more aggressive and good to use if really dirty before a snow foam. mine has been under lots of trees for ages so is well shitty so was thinking of hand sprayer of citrus then snow foam in the pressure washer

This is an depate that can go on for ages - but here is the simple truth - it down to personal preference.

However my personal preference in washing the car is:-

Citrus prewash - dwell for 3 minutes
Chemical guys No Touch Snow Foam - dwell for 10 minutes
JET WASH OFF

and that's it for the winter months - gets 95% clean

If you have stubborn marks do stage two again.

Just remember not to dry it! No such thing as a touchless wash.
