Pretty bad day.....but

Well that was some day

Into work on time to be told a colleague was off and I need to do her work as well as mine today

Ok but I had only half a day as I needed to tale old mum for CAT scan results 70 miles away in the afternoon

Did the job including placing a well respected but failing colleague into pre-competency.

Travelled the 70 miles to be told old mum needs 'preventative' surgery (cancer not likely but possible)

Travelled 70 miles home then onto dentist for root canal work minus anaesthetic, just made it with 5 mins to spare

Home to find cat in state of panic as she can't use the new cat flap and desperately needs to use the loo!

Writing this holding open cat flap and drinking third malt before bed!

Things can only get better


BUT


nothing compared to those kids in Pakistan or the folk in Australia

Rock on!

You must have been desperate to get to that malt to avoid the anaesthetic with the root work
