thanks for all the support of well informed moderators!!!! cant go wrong with em - they know everything about nothing!

So you joined the forum just to sell the car?

On autotrader you need 4 seats for a family, on here your buying a new shape one - consistency would be good.

As a moderator on an X5 forum, I would have done the same as CJ. It is common practice amongst forums that sales only posts are frowned upon.

prestinez4 - I was being lenient in my comments, but to join a forum and make 4 posts of which one is to sell your car and the next 3 are to solicit it to existing members is bang out of order on forums. On some you'd be toasted by now.

If I were being harsh or negative I'd tell you to sort out the typo's in your post title - starting with I assume you mean 'Pristine'.

The car looks like a fairly typical 3.0 Z4 with just below average mileage but if it had 'every optional extra available' you'd be listing M sport seats, xenon headlights, cruise control, bluetooth, heated steering wheel, MFSW and so on. Ellipsoids are not limited edition and were an option throughout the life of the Zed.

Anyway I wish you well with the sale.

toast away! oh and best have a look at those optional extras u think were available on a 2003, oh dear!

apart from the heated steering wheel (which I didn't know existed -but think CJ may have meant seats?)

Everything he's listed is in the 2003 accessories guide I have in my glovebox....

He also forgot to mention rear spoiler, hardtop, iPod Connector, Extended leather, bad attitude owner, carver stereo, auto-tilting internal and external mirrors...

Too many cars nowadays seem to have that option fitted

is it possible to retrofit it?

I believe so.

I think all you need to have is a merlot paint job, some bread, CJ, and a herd of ducks.

Strange how easy it is to build an interesting picture of people through just a few curt posts, wording on adverts, misinformation and then deletion of posts. Bet he (or she) would be a bundle of laughs to meet for a test drive and potential purchase....lol

Do pop back to give me a laugh later on today :)

sk - you're right - I meant heated seats. Pretty sure heated steering was available but only in some other markets.

A lot of the items listed in the add are standard on the car anyway

I want him to stay!!! But we may have to move this to the 'On the light side' section as it is rather entertaining! :P

reminds me of the other member that used to go round editing their posts after others had responded.

They are good 8) I hate struggling with nothing. Really hope they managed to use their expertise of nothing to help you out. Be sure to come back if you reach a point where there is nothing left you can do yourself, with such a glut of knowledge on here I'm sure there is someone who could do nothing for you. Must have left you with something of a paradox though, this is just a thought, but does this mean there nothing is holding you back?
