Preparing to machine polish the Z4C

I've booked Mon/Tue off work next week and hoping to spend a good amount of time detailing my new-to-me e90. In serious need of de-tarring (Tardis), claying (Bilt Hamber), machine polish (various Chem Guys stuff), sealing (PB White Diamond), waxing (Collinite #476), calipers painted (Hammerite!), and the metal trim around the windows repainted (satin black spray paint).

Doubt I can be arsed getting all that done but I'll give it a try...

Sheesh! 12hrs today spent, Car fully washed, cleansed, prepared and made a start on the paint correction.

I have another 14hr day tomorrow up against me, and I think it will run into Sunday as well.

I can't believe how hard the paint is on BMW's it's ridiculous!

Here's a couple of sneaky pics...

26.5hrs in and still not finished - getting some gorgeous results though, can't wait to share it with everyone!

My back's killing me, my ears are ringing from the machine, but Jeeez it looks good, will look even better after waxing!

Stay tuned!

Am looking forward to seeing the results of all your hard work and feeling guilty all at the same time :o

Any chance you can do a complete Zed specific seperate how-to thread for the novices out there interested in doing this themselves. A simple step by step with equipment and products required would be awesome.

Didn't anyone tell you? It's the two bucket method, not the two dustbin method! :)
Damn, thats where I've been going wrong. Might explain the smell of baked beans too. Not very Dodo Juice at all.
