??:Premium sound system/Subs dont work:??

I have the premium sound system, but I noticed that there is no sound or very little coming out of the two subs behind the seats.
Any thoughts how to troubleshoot, or tes the system? I faded to the back and all I hear is the two small speakers??!!

Any advise will be great!

hi, this issue came up b4.
fading out the back canceling the subs coz its connected to the front (so i remember from another post).
lots of the low sounds comes from the front woffers, the subs are coming in when you play songs with lots of bass (like rap).
if you want to test your subs try this-
fade and balance on middle, equalizer on "off", and try volume up a bit. it sould work.
ps- "jazzclucb" on the equ will give you lots of bass from the all system but mostly from the frint woffers.

You are right on the money!! I did test it, I turned off jazz (it was set in the preset), put in some rap and did like you recommended it. Thank you
very much for this clarification! I initially faded to the back and only heard the small speakers, they do share the front woofers!

Odd question and sorry to hijack the thread, but I have the 'business' system on ym 53 3.0 Z yet I have mesh over where my mates Z has storage space. Also my sound system seems pretty bassy with certain songs, even at say 80mph with the roof down you can feel the bass, do I have subs behind the seats??! I couldnt tell by having a quick look and my mate recons I don't. (he has a 07 Coupe with SatNav and the stereo is pretty impressive too).
 
as far as i know mesh means subwoffers.
you can try the above and also you can check next to your battery, pre 06 Z should have the carver amplifier there which means you have premium sound system and subs.
