Prefernces Cabrio or Coupe?

Coupe - Looks better and argubly will handle better, more exclusive.

How do you find driving with your guide dog? Do you run him on a long lead and drive really slowly, or does he sit on the passenger seat and yelp for left, bark for right and growl for stop?

Better looking my arse... :fuelfire:

Tapatalking...

///M coupe everytime, the only way to have it, but roofless (and doorless) for the Westfield :P

Coupe looks great. But can't imagine why you'd want the inconvenience of a 2-seater with none of the fun of top down motoring. I agree that having a ///M means a level of exclusivity. I've only had mine about a month and am yet to see another.

Different strokes for different folks,

You would think the coupe would be more exclusive... but just look at the common coupe club on here. Seems everyone got a coupe ;)

Roadster far more exclusive, and more fun :) want a roof? Buy a hardtop :)

I do love the look of the coupe, it's a very pretty car. But I love open top motoring, it just adds to the thrill and experience of driving quickly so it's always a roadster for me.

The 'M' in either guise is a rare car and those of us lucky enough to own an 'M' car appreciate that we drive a unique piece of automotive technology that is first and foremost a driver's car.

Anyway, who wants to be in the same 'exclusive' club as TazX :poke: .

x1000!!! lol mark.... do you use the toilet via your face..... all the s**t your talking you must do :driving: ..... have you seen the stiffness figures?? the roadster is stiffer than a lotus exige!!!

no doubt the coupe is incredibly stiff with some amazing figures but really the better drive just isnt a relevant argument.... i tried both and prefured the roadster, but i can see why people would want the coupe for sure.... its just a personal preference.....

Coupe all the way. I parked mine (freshly washed and polished with new CSLs) in the centre of St Andrews today and on my return found some people standing round admiring it.... 8)

I didn't realise it would be such a touchy subject - ......I sense a real good vibe with you folks here so I'll be back with some more :poke: questions..... :P ....lol

Well am must be one of only a few who can HONESTLY talk about this subject ... qualifications if you like.. :D

Owned - Z4 Black Roadster
Owned - Z4 Grey Roadster with Hardtop
Own - Z4 Coupe

Well Beedub is right when I purchased my hardtop I honestly felt it was the best of both world I just loved the look! ... but this is when I realise how much I liked the coupe ...and the lure of coupe ownership was too much for me and I purchased one.

I really enjoyed the roadster great on a summers day etc etc, but I feel the coupe is a step up IMO simply as there are not so many about , I must see 10 z4 roadsters a day on the M4 , and maybe 1 a week that’s a coupe. That what I personally love about the coupe and its stunning lines and I personally feel the rear is perfection.

I really cannot understand anyone who thinks the coupe is ugly as 80% of it looks like a roadster anyway??? And that person should consider changing their car as it obviously does not like 80% of theirs! :P :poke: .

Without doubt the coupe is a special car, where as the roadster is “another” beautiful convertible

Either way the debates are fun, as being someone who has all 3 possibilities does make me smile.

It's that 20% that does it though - think about it, if, like me, you have 20% less hair (ok, me 10 years ago...) then with the right haircut you can still look good. But if you then stuck a slightly imperfect toupee on, or had a Rooney-esque transplant, you'd ruin yourself. Toupee.. Coupe... Hmmmm... :? :poke:

Only when you have tried all the varieties can you truly answer this question

If you like .... you have 3 brand new flavours of crisp to try...and you try only one flavour, and man you like it! Looks good, tastes good even managed to pick up the limited edition packaging for this flavour!... now there all made of the same stuff , but just taste is different..

How can you judge all 3 types’ crisps until you try all 3? :)

I test drove a coupe for 3 days prior to deciding I wanted a roadster, and in fact I nearly bought the test drive coupe from Specialist Cars. Instead I got the roadster for a year, then 3 years later bought my own. So I have tried both.

In fairness, if I was to buy an M, because of the rarety of either I might be persuaded by a coupe - but I would hate to go that way and then regret it. It's not really that the coupe is ugly, I just love top-down driving. And I prefer my asses petite :D

Bing its the same ass she just bent over this way

I think I just got a bit "spent" with convertibles, think the e89 is the way forward best of both words :)
