Pre Vs. Post facelift floor mats, are they different?

Hi Guys,
I bought a set of genuine BMW carpet floor mats off ebay the other week. But i have a couple of issues with them.
I have a pre facelift and these were sold as out of a 2006 (im guessing post facelift).

Are the pre facelift and post facelift mats different sizes as the passenger side one doesn't fit well at all and it almost has to be creased to get it to fit in the gap?

Also, I have two strips of velcro on the floor just infront of the drivers seat and also two circles of velcro on the back of the drivers side mat, but whereas one should be the hooks and one the loops they both appear to be loops so the mat keeps moving around whilst getting in and out and also when driving.

Any thoughts???

Hi Charlie,
I've got a 2006 Z4 and decided to buy a set of mats from the stealer.
I haven't seen a pre-facelift version but looking at the back of the mats I have there are lots of velcro circles all over the back of it and they haven't moved at all since I put them in.
Don't remember seeing any velcro at all on the floor of the car - I could be wrong though.
