A rushed Paint.NET job - but im going to dig out of the old craft knife and give the below a shot -worth a punt on a £3 roll of vinyl

^^^ Well, it's different - that's all I'll say

Guess who misread their previous MOT certificate... Luckily I rechecked the dates on the form before heading off to get the MOT done yesterday, turns out it's not actually due til the end of Oct and the earliest I can get it done is NEXT Saturday. Doh! So I won't know about the legality of my modified rear lights til at least then.

You really did get inspired for a Z4 day yesterday :)
Aero sides, squeaks and lights all in a day.

They look good

iirc, green bulbs behind red will result in them flashing orange, worth a try...

Good idea but already tried that on more heavily red-tinted lights and had no effect! Mine are IMO orange enough to be OK - I kept the tint light enough (I hope...)

I finally got around to booking my MOT for the weekend and it passed :)

I did, errrr, get an "advisory" for the colour of the rear indicators. And by "advisory" I mean, "I advise you replace those asap" lol. Seems I did indeed go a bit too heavy on the tint spray, so I'm planning to strip it off and start from stratch but with less layers of tint.

I'm trying to avoid major expense on the Z4, so as much as I'd like to spend money to get rid of the amber I won't be doing it! Tint spray v2 on the way...
