Pre-facelift Aero Diffuser on facelift rear bumper?

Hi all,

I have the opportunity to acquire the original rear aero diffuser, and perhaps it's just coincidence, but I cannot find any pics of it fitted to a facelift rear bumper.

The more I check, the more I see the differences in the profile between the newer/older bumper, and am questioning if it does actually fit? (I know there was a later carbon diffuser which definitely fits facelift models but they are as rare as hens teeth).

Would anyone happen to know for sure?

(I have the option to buy the complete bumper, but I'm pretty certain the pre-facelift bumpers won't fit an e86 due to the differing rear lights)

The rear light shape is the same afaik, so you should be able to swap the bumper ok. Can’t help with the diffuser fitment

Thanks Matt, I always thought there was some type of difference between the two, maybe it's an M Bumper thing instead.
