Well, if they want to photograph an old classic Z4, you can't beat Fred's Vanden Plas model.
I won't tell the forum what you have been looking at on ebay Alan :P
Did you buy it :|

Beige interior and wood trim. Are we trying to dissuade the readers of PC from buying a Z4 :o
Just watch the price of these classics double once the PC readers realise they come with such fine interiors :P
Perhaps your next mod should be one of these to enhance the ambiance of your mobile Drawing Room and complement your driving slippers...

Hi All,
Thank you to everyone who has sent over pictures and details, it is appreciated. As is often the case with forums and emails it can be quite difficult to match real names with forum names :D , I think I've managed to match a couple up but I'm not sure I've got a picture for Firebobby (I can take the one off here, I just don't want to duplicate it) and a Grumpyowls was mentioned but I don't know if I've received anything from them. I've had a fantastic response from this forum (it will get a mention in the article) which is good in one way - we get a wide selection to chose from- but the flip side is that we can only use one car so I apologise now if your car isn't chosen. I must stress that every car that has been submitted is perfectly suitable for the shoot so it will just come down to colour - such a 'girly' reason to give but in the print world colour rules. Many thanks Vicky

Thanks for the kind comments about my car John.
It's sterling grey and I've got lovely 224's on instead of the 103 daisies also it's on sorn till ar least April weather dependant.

Hi All
Thank you so much for all your input, I've had 10 cars offered for this shoot, all of them suitable so all passed onto the Art Ed who will make the decision on which car to use. When we have this many cars offered it really does come down to colour over anything else, so if you are one of the nine cars that isn't chosen it really is just a colour thing. I just need to say that I'm out of the office until next Tuesday and I don't know if the decision will be made before I leave today so please bear with me if you don't hear anything for a few days.

Buzyg - just to say that yes, with certain insurers your car could come in under classic car insurance so be cheaper, however you may be limited on mileage.

Glad to hear you've had as many positive responses, but from my experience on here I'm not surprised!

Sorry to read that - I sold a 52 plate car a week ago! Still it's replacement is an 06, so it will become a classic in a few years!

Hi All
Just to say that a car has been chosen for the shoot and that it has been booked in. In this instance I've had to let nine other owners know that they've been unsuccessful - which I think is a record. Thank you all for taking such an interest in this feature, it is really appreciated and apologies to all the owners who didn't get picked - it really does come down to car colour with this one.
Many thanks
Vicky
