Power vs Manual top

OK, so I'm still searching for a Z4. I've found a couple that say Manual Top, but the pictures of the console clearly show the up and down buttons for the top. I have not yet seen a console without the buttons. So, is there a manual top that uses the same buttons for something other than the full up and down?

Conversely, are these adds just incorrect?

We don't get the manual top in the UK, but I'm pretty certain that it's either manual or auto so if it has the buttons you would expect it to be fully automatic.

Are you sure you're not confusing the DTC/tyre pressure buttons instead? Have you got any links to the ones you're looking at?

I don't think I'm confusing them. It's the two buttons between the left Seat heater and the DTC.

Those are the buttons, not sure if they put them in without actually having a power top. Wouldn't seem to make much sense if they did. So either the add is incorrect or they are subbing the pictures.

They could be subbing the pictures. I know when looking around between carmax and even BMW sites there were a lot of innaccurate pictures. For Carmax the guy had to call Arizona (where car was originally) to go to the car, get in and actually push the buttons to confirm it was an auto top. I called one or two of the BMW places in California for the same thing, and while they didn't have the right pics, the salesguy did confirm the options on the car. I can't remember which dealer though.
