I have an '03 and it started to have some hesitation in lowering the top a couple of times and now I cant hear the pump at all. I have checked the limit switch and the fuses, all are good. The small electric motor to latch it works fine. I removed the felt from the trunk and still can't locate the pump to pull and test it. Just where did they manage to hide it?

I have just written a short article explaining how to remove the motor without taking the roof off... Maybe check it out.

Before you default to motor issues I’d advise you check the wiring loom first-

Maybe pop a video up of it happening?
