Mike that's brilliant news!
Did you hang onto the other EPS motor that is probably ok? Could be useful for someone at some point.

I've just re-read the whole thread and it took us a while to get there didn't it? Thanks for giving us the feedback.

Who would have thought! Power Steering fails? Check the crankcase sensor.

@bigwinn, @Street, @Umfaan, @colb - remember this one. :thumbsup:

I know couldn't believe it when the car started on the button and power steering was working really appreciate all your help
Yes kept the other EPS motor if anyone needs it drop me a message
Was really doubtful it was going to fix it really thought it was a major issue with one module or another
Did read a few other posts on Same topic but no-one ever replied with what fixed it for them at least this is out there for someone else to read now

Right then! Get those carpets dried and we can chat about airbag modules next. :rofl:
Will do have to put the v clamp back on and under tray
Have to change the vvt motor again as I broke the plug off climbing over the engine trying to get my head in the gap to see what I was doing it didn't help I wouldn't suggest it 🤣
Car is under shelter at the moment so not getting wetter will pull out the seats and lift the carpet this weekend and leave it running with the heating on until it dries out I'm sure the airbag system won't be as difficult to chase the fault or maybe not only time will tell I'm invested in the car now

I can certainly help you diagnose the airbag faults.
Get the satellite part numbers so I can see if I have any for starters.

The foam under the carpet needs squeezing to get all the water out.
Initially mop and squeeze as much as you can, then lift the carpets as high as possible, push newspapers or towels under there and weigh the carpet down with something heavy (car batteries for example). Every couple of hours swap the towels and paper until eventually it's as dry as possible, then finish off with a hairdryer or a dehumidifier.
