Power steering failure

Help needed please!
I have everything disconencted but the one thing holding me back is the connector on the back of the EPS motor - I can't see how you undo it as access is poor.
I've removed the big one but the smaller one isn't a connector I've seen before - any help would be appreciated!
There are actually two other connectors up there! So go careful.
One of them is ty-wrapped along the motor body too.
I carefully pulled the motor back and lowered it down until I could see what I was doing, then snipped the ties and unplugged the connectors.
Be sure to hold the weight of the motor while you're doing it.
If it's a manual car you will also need to push down the clutch pedal to clear the motor.
I did it while laying upside down in the foot-well. I recommend some padding on the pedal as the easiest way is to push it down with the back of your head!

Got the bastard in the end, thanks! Had managed to not have to remove the seat up to this point but this conenctor was the final straw - had to look at it to see what we were doing.
No idea how I'm getting it all back together but that's a problem for future cremeegg

Ah yes, the seat out is much easier.
I must admit I didn't bother to try to get the tywraps back on when I fitted it. Just made sure the cable was safely routed.
And it was relatively easy to push fit the connectors once it was in place. I didn't bother to try and connect them up first.
Hopefully you have the torx head mounting bolts not the allen key head ones?
If so, then its fairly easy to put the head of the bolt in an 8mm ratchet ring spanner and offer it up, then apply pressure with a screwdriver blade on the head of the bolt as you crank it in. (double check the spanner is tightening, not loosening - I erm, have a friend who got it wrong  )
I hope you marked the motor, ring and column first so you can line them all up.

Make sure you use the Ebay route to ECU Testing as its cheaper.
They should phone you and confirm an email address to send you a pre-paid DHL label.
I bought their service through Ebay on a Sunday evening.
0810, Monday morning they called me, midday DHL took it away, Wednesday they called again to say it was fixed and DHL brought it back to me midday Thursday.

In the meantime you should be having a beer and congratulating yourself on not dismantling the whole column to get it out. That way madness lays!

Hah I just removed the rack in the end, was easier than trying to get the motor out. ECU testing have posted my motor back to me today so I'll get it on Monday, then I have to get it re-assembled before the MOT on Friday...no pressure!

Why on earth did you remove the rack?
It's nowhere near the EPS motor?
I honestly cannot see why people have so much difficulty with this?

Got the motor back in this evening and no error, woo! Just need to put the trim back on and it's good to go.
Need to adjust the ring to tighten it up as the steering is a tad light but that's a 5 minute job.
If anyone else needs to remove their column/motor then I used this video:
