Ah yes, the seat out is much easier.
I must admit I didn't bother to try to get the tywraps back on when I fitted it. Just made sure the cable was safely routed.
And it was relatively easy to push fit the connectors once it was in place. I didn't bother to try and connect them up first.
Hopefully you have the torx head mounting bolts not the allen key head ones?
If so, then its fairly easy to put the head of the bolt in an 8mm ratchet ring spanner and offer it up, then apply pressure with a screwdriver blade on the head of the bolt as you crank it in. (double check the spanner is tightening, not loosening - I erm, have a friend who got it wrong :roll: )
I hope you marked the motor, ring and column first so you can line them all up.
Make sure you use the Ebay route to ECU Testing as its cheaper.
They should phone you and confirm an email address to send you a pre-paid DHL label.
I bought their service through Ebay on a Sunday evening.
0810, Monday morning they called me, midday DHL took it away, Wednesday they called again to say it was fixed and DHL brought it back to me midday Thursday.
In the meantime you should be having a beer and congratulating yourself on not dismantling the whole column to get it out. That way madness lays!
