Power Seats switch cover removal

Can anyone help.
Has anyone had to replace the power seat switch assembly or have re-upholstered the seats?
I have a 2008 Z4 E85 and I'm trying to re-upholster the seats and can't get the cover off of the switch assy. I found a procedure at Pelican parts and tried it but after removing the T20 torx screw the panel won't snap off. I have disengaged the tabs but it won't budge.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jimmy,
Take a look at this thread: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128827

Hi DMike,
Thanks for the help.
That thread has what i need.

That piece of trim is a bit tricky. First, release screw from the rear. Then, second, there are two catches hidden to eye that need to be snapped out:
- One at the upper edge just front of the button panel, press upper edge downwards and pull trim out a bit.
- One at the upper edge approx. two inces from the rear, press downward-forwards and pull trim out a bit.
And finally, lever out the lugs at bottom.

The first catch was easy.
My problem now is that the part I highlighted in red is just no working. I can actually see the panel deforming where that tab is when I pull on it.

I figured it out. part of my problem was that the seats were set to low and the seat belt anchor was in the way. after raising the seat everything went smooth.
