power loss ?

hi , i feel that my z4 losses power when i hit a pothole etc.. i put in to bmw for health check 150 poundit was aswell & nothing .same problem still there .no engine managements lights come on .any ideas ? kind regards reg :oops:
 
Maybe you need to develop a stronger right leg to stop it being bounced off by the holes either that or try driving with cruise control on :D .I am sure if its something serious someone here will help, Merry Christmas Steve
 
Not sure what you mean by "hitting a pothole etc" you sure this isnt traction control kicking in?
 
yea im pretty sure he is ranski!

regmc22 try driving with your dsc completely off but be ready for the tail possibly going a bit light when your 'loss in power' usually happens. You wont feel the 'loss in power' nowhere near as much but it sounds like that was a wasted 150 quid!
 
Hi mate maybe a loose battery terminal , had a loss of power before on my previous Zed happened a couple of times until a noticed it tighten up never a problem again! :thumbsup:
 
hi , i didn,t pay the 150 the dealer charged the garage i bought it from .just powerloss when i hit a bump or pothole .and have had several bmw,s and never had any probs before .i will check battrey terminals .cheers all :cry: :)
