If you have a proper roadster version you need to be going at a speed that still allows lesser mortals to see your contented smile.
I didn’t see the need to compromise, which is why I have both.enuff_zed said:All this theory applies only to tin top coops.

If you think driving downhill increases power then you obviously don't understand the gravity of the situation!SonnyA85 said:Z4tobe said:I am currently looking at getting a 3 litre convertible. Drive it downhill. Pointless doing anything other than a supercharger which isn't cheap. You could do a back box delete but it's not going to make any real world difference. Buy the SI, M or the E89 35is if you want more power.

lighter wheels is always a good place to start. maybe some sound deadening under the carpets? lighter seats? smaller battery? lose the spare wheel etc . it's all a compromise over comfort.
maybe some breathing improvements and 200 cell cats. not much else you can do on NA cars.
A wheely good one, sorry :thumbsdown:Smartbear said:NLW73 said:take weight out where you can. if you can... always helps
