Hi everybody.
I am thinking of buying my first BMW. I took a look at one last Friday and it seemed very nice with low mileage and service stamps. It seemed to drive OK but I was very disappointed And Concerned when upon removing the oil cap I found a fair amount of pale coloured " mayonnaise".
I realise the car may have been stood for a period while on sale therefore allowing condensation to build up but I own a golf with 95k on the clock and there's No Sign of any gunk or anything untoward in this current motor.
I do not know what to do next. Should I leave the car alone based on this or what? I know its subjective and there are different explanations for gunk/ mayo but I really would like to know how many of you would definitely avoid based on the information?
