Potential Z4 Half Cover Group Buy

Hi all,

Recently there has been a few topics regarding half roof covers for The E85 Z4 and thought it was a good idea and a few of you seem interested in them.

After a bit of reading and research i have come to the conclusion that the UK custom covers seems to fit the bill pretty well and comes highly regarded for the money.

I have contacted UK Custom Cover's to see if they are interested in a group buy and they are, so I am going to put this feeler out and see if anyone else is.

The only Issue with the group buy is that the covers will take 8 weeks to arrive before dispatch which could be an issue for some. (The company are low on stock).

The normal price is £60 per cover plus - £8.95 P&P

They are willing to offer a deal of £50 per cover plus £8.95 P&P for a Minimum of 10 orders which is a saving of £10 per cover!

They also said potentially the covers could be sent to one address to try and save on some postage but I’m not sure if this would work out well.

I will find out more info on the deal if there is enough interest.

Would anyone be interested in this? Or is the 8 week lead time too long?

Not a problem been using it alot and had no problems apart from the colour fading which doesnt bother me. If anyone wants specific pictures just ask.

Call me tight but I'd be looking for a bigger discount. EBay and PayPal would take the best part of a tenner from their price of £59.99+Postage so they aren't really offering any discount :thumbsdown:

It's nearly 18% i didn't think it was too bad really, better than nothing if you are considering paying full price anyway, he can offer me a postage price to one place at a lower rate but i thought it would be hard to organise etc.

Im happy to pay the full price if there is little interest, but just thought id try help a few of you out

£10 off is a good discount compared to efforts made by forum members before - some half cover manufacturers refused to offer any discounts in the past.
