Potential swap to coupe???

Hi everyone

I've had a z4 2006 2l for the last year now. I'm looking at swapping to the coupe

I'm looking at the same year or maybe a year later and something around average miles for age, around 10k per year I would be happy with

What kind of price would you expect to pay for something like this and also what kind of things are well known problems to look out for on that age/milage?

any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

between £10k - £13 it seems if these are anything to go by:

The official forum FAQ is a must read too

Good luck

Sounds nice, 10-13 sounds good, I was thinking 10/11 but wasn't sure if that would get a decent one but seems like it would

That ones just a little out of range I would say

If I can find one then there will be a z4 2l 2006 56k miles for sale soon so if anyone is interested let me know and I can give more details

Just had a look that looks really nice and at my kind of price range

Roadsters definitely gonna have to go, if it's still there when mine is sold I may be interested, I just need to sell first

Hopefully with it being the summer I might get a quick sale

Essentially, I am looking at a quicker sale as there are a number of reasons that I need to change to a Diesel :(

One is a family issue which is only getting worse and the other is a new job, which means I am driving more. I've had it for 18 months and loved it, it's been a great every day car, been on a holiday up to Scotland and back, but needs must. Long journeys and 3.0 engine just don't mix.

In an ideal world I'd be asking £9500, but instead of messing about I'm happy just to stick up what I would take. And this is the OC price, I really hate the whole auto trader thing of sticking it up, fielding calls and having jokers trying to bargain you down. I like things straight forward.

PM me if you want the details.

Yeah if I can get mine sold will probably want some more details

I want to swap because being a 2l it's quick enough I guess but I want something more. Since I'm looking at going for a bigger engine, I started looking in to the coupe more and I love the design so thought yeah would like to own one of these, and that's about it really

Also as much as I love the convertible, I have it up more then I have it down, sometimes one of those people you would say it was wasted on lol, so need to give it to someone who will use it as intended and have that roof down all the time

Please explain why you'd ever want to swap to a Coupe? At length if you don't mind... :D

My opinion is that it's one of the best looking fast back cars ever. I have to say I was never a BMW fan, the Z3 was meh... and the Z4 Roadster was, ok, but the Coupe shape just wowed me.

I'm gutted that I'm having to sell it. :( And for a diesel at that!!
