Potential scam?!

So I happen to pop on autotrader yesterday (looking for a M) and I see a used 2006 Z4 for the huge price of $6800. Must be a typo right? I'm kinda hoping that maybe it's one of those pissed off wife car sells that you hear about now and again. So I say what the hell and shoot an email out to see if it's really $6,800. Here is the reply, sounds like a textbook scam to me. The delay in the replay was all of a day....
I guess autotrader removed the listing already, I just searched and can't find it. At any rate, be cautious folk. Lots of scammers out there.

Sorry for the delay in my reply, I am literally overwhelmed by the number of offers.
First of all I'd like to let you know that the 2006 BMW Z4 Coupe is still available for sale. The car is meticulously maintained. No damage, no scratches or dents, no
hidden defects, runs and sounds awesome, the engine has never been repaired or something like that, exactly as advertised.
I am a Swiss citizen and I worked for a period of time in US. I purchased the vehicle from US and used it while I worked there. I am a private seller not a dealer.
Because of the financial crisis I moved back to my home country, as I lost my job from US. Very reluctant sale as I can't afford to keep it anymore. The final price
is $6,800.
The vehicle is in my garage from Hawaii. One of my friends will handle the shipping, but I cannot ask him to meet all interested customers. I must tell you that I have
lots of interested customers (as you can imagine, at this low price) and if you want to buy this vehicle we will make the deal through escrow transaction mediator (
Money held by a third party until the conditions of an agreement are met). All the documents will be provided along with the car.

What are you all talking about? It's a GREAT DEAL! I'm going to send payment to snatch this baby as soon as I receive the inheritance money from an unkown relative in Nigeria.

Interestly enough, I just got an email from my bank. Seems my debit card was used to make 2 large purchases and 1 small one to the UK. No one here has borrowed my card numbers have they :poke:

Just kidding. At any rate, card is dead, I just checked my credit report reactivated a fraud alert. Seems like the debit card was the only thing hit. Good thing I have 40 bucks in my pocket. I'm lacking on edible stuff to cook with atm.
