I have had E85s with the 2.2 and 2.5 engines and two E89s a 3.5is and currently a 1.8MSport. The MSport has been remapped. The two 89s are really different in character. I loved the 3.5is for that lovely straight six sound and straight line speed. But I didn’t find it handled as well as the E85s. My current car certainly lacks the character and engine sound of the 3litre but I find it more enjoyable to drive. It is much more nimble and responsive. More like an E85 but more comfortable. It really depends on what you want most.
