hi everyone and greetings from sunny llanelli,

The time has come to change my car and after lot of thinking, researching and looking have decided that the Z4 suites my needs perfect. Pretty much spent all of last week looking and reading about them online and went to test drive one yesterday morning and have fallen completely in lve with them. The only dilemma i now have is which colour. So far ive narrowed it down to black,silver and grey. I like the black however ive had a black car and know how easy they show up the dirt. The gunmetal/grey is appealing and looks classy but seems quite a 'flat' colour and the silver shows off the contours of the car really well but seems a 'plain' colour. So the jury is out at the moment regarding which colour. Im not fussy, honest :D

Moving on from a Supra i want something with a bit of poke so have set my sights on a 3.0 manual in the £10k-£13k range. Ideally with less than 50k on the clock and around the 2003/2004 mark. Is that price range about right for what im looking for?

Want to track one down asap, before next weekend hopefully, and start enjoying topless driving again :)
 
i originally wanted grey with black leather but went to see a silver car with red leather with a good spec and couldnt resist, i think if your fairly relaxed on colour the spec of the car might be the deciding factor for you. i agree with black, shows every scratch and a nightmare to keep clean, however when they are clean they look great !.

Having had a silver, grey and black car in the past i would say they all have their merits.. silver doesnt look dirty even when its dusty - but can never sparkle as well as black. Black can have an awesome mirror finish, but looks dirty very quickly.. grey is the middle ground - very lib dems - the best - or worst of black and silver!

imho i opted for black with my Z, as i didnt like the idea of having a silver car with a black roof! If i had gone for the coupe i would have gone for silver.

Welcome. They're all good colour choices, I'd go with whichever you can find the right example of at the right price :thumbsup:
