Potential new owner (again..)

Welcome along! TBH coming from yours, i'd go TT-RS over any BMW.

Z4 is ok, bit hard for the road and the build isn't great. However they're well priced, quick enough and look brilliant. Best looking coupe on the market imo...bar the V8V.

Interlargos isn't a nice colour imo, and i'm a bit fan of blue(s), somehow it just doesn't look right on the Z4M.

Grey or Carbon Black imo!

Cheers Ali. Not a fan of the TT, plus my boss has one and he's had way too many TiTTy jibes off me for me to be able to get one.

Just struggling to see past the value of the Z4m at the minute. That and the fact the GTR has cost me near enough £12k in 6 months mean I could do with saving some cash!

Aye, Allan painted a pretty clear picture of the costs! Whilst the purchase cost of the GTR can seem appealing, i don't think people appreciate how expensive they are to run!!!

Z4M is great value i can't fault that! - The roadster looks a bit pony imo, but on a day like today, i suppose it would be good! The coupe looks better imo!

Have you considered an SLK55 AMG. That would be my other choice.

They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't need serviced every 6 months, that's the killer. That and the fact the price of everything triples when you say it's for a GTR. Glad I've had one though, might get back in another one at some point but 911s etc are so much easier to run I'd doubt it.

The looks would put me off the roadster too, although being able to get the roof down would be good. Hadn't thought about SLK55, might have a look at those

I'd swap mine tomo for an SLK55. The front end changed in 08...Quite pricey though and when the new one comes out inevitably they will drop further!

- Oh Goody! ;)

Hmmmm, think I'll avoid anything with the potential for monumental depreciation for a while!

Well, that's my GTR away (deposit taken anyway).. now to find a replacement.

What's everyone's thoughts on these?

The first one seems mint but is pretty punchy money-wise, the second also looks good, although it's service history is a strange mix of BMW, specialist and now Aston Martin for an Insp1 (as they are selling it).

Would that be an issue?
