Where did the green circles and ticks come from against some posts?

I believe it's if the post was a issue, an then a fix was found in the replies, you'd know by the tick that there's a solution

How do you mark it as solved though, as the OP ? And given there's always a load of suggestions on threads, how do you know which one solved it ? Be useful to know.

There is a tick box option against all the replies. Click the post that solved the problem and that marks the thread as solved. Clicking the green tick box takes you to the correct reply.

Only in the problems sections, and you will only see them if you are the OP
